We’re not like them—those other PR folks who rely on silly little acronyms to sell a proprietary program they’ve designed to measure this or demonstrate that (and charge you more for their antics). We’re not the group who will show up with a team of senior-level PR folks you’ll never see again. We don’t take ourselves so seriously like the other guys and our feet aren’t held to the fire by the corporate office. We don’t buy tables at industry events so we can be sharks hunting for our next meal. We don’t apply for PR awards so we can put a meaningless “Best of PR World” logo on our site; we already have a cool logo.
We don’t send unsolicited emails broadcasting our virtues. We don’t even write press releases about our agency. Why? The reality is, nobody cares and besides, shouldn’t a good agency be concerned about getting their clients press—not themselves? In short, we’re not the ones giving the PR industry a bad rap.
