5 Things We Loved at the 2018 Pokémon World Championships

Pokémon fans from around the globe flocked to Nashville, Tennessee’s Music City Center for the 2018 Pokémon World Championships (August 24-26), an annual competition where players showcase their skills in the franchise’s trading card and video games.

While the heat was on for competitors, spectators could take a break from the main event to stroll the block playing Pokémon GO, test their skills against one another and preview Pokémon: Let’s Go, slated for a November release. Here’s a few more things we loved about this year’s World Championships.
