Growth in casual and online gaming is strong and accelerating, driven by growing adoption of mobile computing and social networks. A recent Gartner report estimates that worldwide spending on gaming will top $74 billion in 2011, up 10.4% from a year earlier; Gartner sees the total hitting $112 billion by 2015. The strong growth has spurred a flurry of M&A and investment activity.
