With more than 1 billion smartphone users globally — that’s about one in seven with a personal computer in their pocket — more and more people are connected to their devices. Depending on where you live, smartphone habits can run the gamut from casual use to all-out addiction. In an effort to determine the relationship between mobile use and social behavior in developed and developing markets, telecom specialists Tyntec surveyed more than 4,000 participants, ages 18 to 55, from Brazil, Russia, the U.S. and the UK.
