Company Update

We live in an on demand world.  We can get anything, from movies, food, rides, the kitchen sinkeven the guy that fixes the kitchen sinkright when we want it, with just a few taps on our smartphones. This on-demand, hyper-convenience has created a culture in which everyone wants more. Clients are demanding more. Employers are demanding more. Consumers are demanding more. And, not just more, but more faster. This trend is infiltrating every industry, and as we’ve seen among some of our clients, healthcare is no exception.

Competition in healthcare is fierce. Consumer-focused companies are getting into the game and vying for first place. Jeff Bezos is eyeing the industry as a market open to business opportunities, and tech giants including Apple, Google and Uber have thrown their hats into the ring with investments or new business units focused on healthcare initiatives. Companies must innovate in order to stay relevant and profitable in this climate.

We’re here to help. At Barokas, we have witnessed the healthcare industry’s significant growth and how technology is creating a more customized and fulfilling patient experience. As the industry is poised to embrace a consumerist future, we are ready to support those needs, marrying our knowledge of healthcare and tech with concentrated press efforts, targeted content and a comprehensive digital media strategy.

We also believe that words need to be supported by action, so we invite you to check out our freshest blog post, where we’ll dish on how consumerism is serving as a major disruptor in healthcare and how we are at the helm to help navigate these waters for our clients. Offering client examples, including our work with 98point6, and in growing healthcare consumer intelligence company NRC Health’s digital media presence, we’ll demonstrate just how we have our finger on the pulse when it comes to healthcare PR and communications.

In the meantime, if you are interested in partnering with us to see how we deliver on demand results for our clients, we’d love to connect.
